The Best Book of 2009
Books. I love them. They make me happy. There rarely is a time where I'm not reading something. I'm sure you won't find it hard to understand why I've been sitting here for several minutes trying to think of the absolutely best book I read this year. I'm having a hard time. I read several (an exact number I couldn't say-but on average two or three a month is a good guesstimate). Even re-read a few namely Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice & Twilight; because I initially read those in years past I can't name them, "The Best Book of 2009" for The Best of '09 Blog Challenge. The novel that is standing out right this moment, namely due to the emotion it evoked in me is The Secret Life of Bees, by Sue Monk Kidd, so I'm naming it as the best book I read in 2009.What was yours?
