Me In Complete Dorkdom Poolside

As I mentioned earlier I'm so ecstatic to be going to see Blue October. I've been doing my happy dance all day. I was at the pool earlier lounging under my lovely umbrella and I couldn't help but be goofy and do my happy dance in slow motion. Yes, my name is Nicole. Yes, I am a complete dork.I'm having a REALLY good day, and savoring every last bit of it. I know it has something to do with the crazy shit that happened to my aunt and uncle earlier in the week. I just feel so grateful for every little thing the last few days. Before I go all cheese ball and sappy on you, I thought I'd post a few more pics of me pool side. Think of it as my photo story Friday. It sort of ties in with my Pale is the new Tan post.

This is me poolside sipping my kick ass margarita. I have on 100 SPF sunscreen and I'm sitting under an umbrella. This is how I rock it at the pool. I'm the dork with the umbrella-I can't stress enough the importance of protecting your skin from the sun.

Yes my hair is in pigtails. Yes, I am a grown woman with two children. What's your point? I'm also wearing my Phi shirt from ten years ago when I pledged my sorority Phi Mu. On the back it says 'Ivette's Sis'. If you really must know I also had on some pink Gap sweats. Just because I'm a mom doesn't mean I can't be fashionable....even at the pool.[Yes that was me being a complete ass.
