Bath-time Business

A mom can get a lot done during bath-time if she's smart.While my boys frolic in the tub, and once I've done the business of bathing and playing for a bit, I get down to my own business*.Some of my favorite bath-time activities include.

• Beautifying - Plucking, giving myself a facial, floss, filing my nails, etc.
• Folding laundry. Yes, I've done this while sitting on the floor of my bathroom. I place the folded clothes into laundry baskets for each member of the family.
• Reading - My absolute favorite. Sometimes I even read to my boys. They like that.

This evening while my boys fished in the ocean off of an island called Elk. That was my idea, Michael told me that he and his brother were fishing (as I flossed) and I asked him where he was fishing and he replied in the bath-tub."Bath tub..? You're not in a bath tub, your in the ocean, and your fishing for tropical fish off of an island called Elk." I said mater-of-factly and he took it an ran. I kid you not, he and Evan played for an hour while I flossed, plucked, and read the new Stephen King.*All done in the bathroom, with in eyesight and earshot of my boys.
